Project ROVe is a marine technology professional development program designed to bridge the gap between today’s classrooms and tomorrow’s ocean workforce. This session will explore how equipping educators with cutting-edge marine tech training and support can inspire students to become innovative problem solvers in the STEM and marine technology fields. As the tools of tomorrow’s workforce may not yet exist, we focus on teaching students to think critically and creatively to build the solutions they will one day need. Attendees will learn how Project ROVe is creating a ripple effect—empowering teachers to bring real-world, hands-on marine tech experiences into their classrooms, and preparing students to lead the future of ocean exploration and innovation.
