Casey Machado leads product, engineering and design work for Orpheus Ocean. She brings an 18-year career as senior research engineer at WHOI, where she specialized in building and operating underwater robots to explore challenging and difficult-to-reach subsea environments. She has been the lead mechanical engineer for the design of six autonomous and remotely operating vehicles, and has an accumulated 3 years of offshore operations experience.
