The Women in Maritime Summit is designed for maritime professionals at every stage of their careers to learn, collaborate with peers, and leave with professional connections that last beyond the day.
This year’s summit will open with a presentation on a new international workforce development initiative led by the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. The Summit will then shift to an interactive discussion on how advanced technologies are changing the way maritime professionals work. Attendees will be invited to participate in a brief roundtable discussion, before a panel of industry leaders takes the stage for an expert-level conversation on the topic.

A New Toolkit: Technologies Reshaping Maritime Careers & Operations
The maritime industry is undergoing one of the most significant technological transformations in its history, and the professionals navigating that shift are redefining what it means to work in this field. This panel brings together leaders from across the maritime sector to explore how advanced and emerging technologies are changing daily work, accelerating career development, and opening new pathways for the next generation of maritime professionals — in roles ranging from vessel operations and engineering to design, business development, and beyond.
