Many organizations see Health and Safety Management (SMS) as a bolt on to their routine activities and not integral to their business strategy. Sadly, some companies fail to recognize that an effective safely management system makes good business sense. Using the experience I have gained over the years, I will try and show how an effective safety management system can improve employee morale, the organization's efficiency, client confidence and in time, their overall profitability. This presentation will show participants how to develop an effective safety system and the steps that are needed to create one.
By the end of the presentation participants will have an understanding of what a sound, functioning safety management system should look like, together with the steps needed to create one.
