Dive Plans, pre-dive checklists, safety meetings, dive logs, and AHA’s are just a few of the required documents that need to be completed in conjunction with diving operations. Additionally, equipment testing paperwork, DOT driving logs, personnel and equipment certification tracking, and the list goes on. These are all examples of the necessary documentation and logging that surrounds the commercial diving industry.
This presentation will discuss utilization of technology to maximize efficiency. The discussion will cover traditional data collection methods and archiving processes, along with limitations and shortcomings that accompany that method. Conversely, we will discuss ways to utilize tablets and software to collect, manage, archive, submit, and even create metrics to continually enhance the data collection and tracking process.
Attendees will hear about alternative options for collecting, managing, archiving, submitting, and even analyzing various forms of required documentation. All in hopes of advancing the commercial diving industry.
