Todd Roberts is the CEO and co-founder of Marine Group Boat Works, the premier superyacht refit, repair, and construction shipyard on the U.S. West Coast. A professional mariner by trade, Roberts holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master’s license for vessels up to 1600 gross tons and a Third Mate Unlimited Tonnage license, reflecting a lifelong career rooted in the maritime world.
Roberts joined Marine Group Boat Works in 2000 and has spent the last two decades shaping the company’s evolution from a small shipyard into Southern California’s premier refit and boat construction facility. Under his leadership, the company expanded its capabilities to include complex superyacht refits, commercial vessel repair, and government programs. Roberts also expanded Marine Group’s international presence with a second waterfront facility in Los Cabos, Mexico, and launched Marine Group Global Services to provide mobile support for vessels transiting between the Panama Canal and the Pacific West Coast.
