Timo Vesala is a seasoned marine industry professional with extensive experience in sales, electrification, and propulsion solutions. He currently serves as Vice President of Sales at ABB Marine & Ports.
Since joining ABB in 2018, Timo has built almost 10 years of experience in the marine sector, working closely with customers on advanced electrification, propulsion systems, and energy‑efficient solutions. His background combines strong technical expertise with commercial leadership, enabling him to support customers in navigating the industry’s transition toward more sustainable and efficient marine operations.
Timo holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aalto University in Finland. He is deeply passionate about clean technology and decarbonisation and is committed to supporting shipowners, yards, and partners in achieving their sustainability and performance goals through innovative marine solutions.
