Steven Tran is a fifth-year Ph.D. candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Utah, working under the mentorship of Professor Hanseup Kim. His research centers on the microfabrication of sensors for environmental sensing applications, with a strong focus on the development of embedded sensor systems tailored for Internet of Things (IoT)-based deployment.
