Sean Wade

Sean C. Wade, (Colonel Ret) is the Director of Defense Reasiness Solutions at Accelint. With a career spanning executive military leadership and the commercial technology sector, he specializes in bridging the gap between rigorous defense requirements and the rapid pace of commercial manufacturing.

Sean’s technical deep technical expertise in industrial manufacturing and systems engineering, Sean’s hands-on experience spans from conceptual engineering to fleet integration. This is most notably demonstrated by his work maturing autonomous platforms, such as the MV-20 small Uncrewed Surface Vessel (sUSV)—through Rapid Prototyping Cells (RPC). By establishing a secure digital thread early in the design phase, he ensures that the highly complex microelectronics and sensor payloads required for autonomy can be sustained throughout the lifecycle of a vessel without disrupting shipyard production lines.

Sean is a leading industry voice on navigating Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) and implementing DoD Instruction 5000.97. Prior to joining Accelint, he served as a Senior Director at PTC (2017–2022), where he managed strategic Department of Defense deals and advanced digital engineering frameworks.

Today, he drives the deployment of unified enterprise platforms, specifically the Accelint Parts Management System (APMS) and the maritime resilience platform Scout. By applying defense-grade supply chain logic to commercial boat building, Sean enables manufacturers and operators to secure their procurement pipelines, confidently integrate next-generation autonomous systems, and maintain continuous operational readiness in an era of unprecedented supply chain volatility.
