Richard Nelson is currently president of Enersol Resources, an energy and environmental consulting firm. He has been active in the implementation of biodiesel and renewable diesel for approximately 35 years in various diesel-fueled applications and sectors. He has worked in the areas of biofuel fuel production, diesel and biodiesel ASTM specifications and standards, and the BQ-9000 biofuel quality program as well as educational outreach to producers, marketers, and end-users.
