Mr. McCreary is presently Vice President Business Development for Vigor located in the Pacific Northwest primarily focused on strategic planning for future government programs. Mr. McCreary recently left BAE Systems for Vigor after six years having served as VP Business Development as well as VP and GM of The BAE Southeast Shipyards building and repairing Navy, MSC and commercial ships. Prior to BAE, he served as President and CEO of Marinette Marine Corporation building the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship and the Coast Guard’s Response Boat Medium. Previously, Mr McCreary worked for Halter Marine for eight years through two ownership changes as President and Executive Vice President again building and repairing ships. In his past, he had several roles as VP Operations and President and CEO managing and directing ship and tug and barge operations inland and offshore. Mr. McCreary is a graduate naval architect from the University of Michigan and also holds a MBA from the University of Chicago. Mr. McCreary is a past Chairman of the Shipbuilders Council of America and the NSRP Executive Control Board. Mr. McCreary is also a member of the Navy League, SNAME, the American Society of Naval Engineers and the American Bureau of Shipping.
