Paul Baranowski is an independent contractor that started his career in 1981 working for Sub Sea International in New Orleans. His 16-year commercial diving career with Sub Sea and Global Industries included SAT diving and supervising.
Paul then moved to being an in-house and offshore company representative in the New Orleans area. Working as a project coordinator on diving and ROV construction projects. Also worked on the yearly platform inspection program and as a focal point for the (ISIP) In Service Inspection Program of TLP’s
After the 2005 hurricanes of Katrin and Rita, Paul took a position with Tetra Offshore Services as a project coordinator, doing bundled services projects of hurricane toppled platforms. The 2008 hurricane season was also very punishing to the GOM oilfield with storms Gustav and Ike toppling more platforms. Paul’s 13-year career with Tetra (2006 to 2019) was primary hurricane downer platform salvage operations including P&A hundreds of wells.
Before returning to being an independent contractor company representative, Paul spent the last 5 years working with Aqueos Corporation. Responsibilities included Project Coordinator, Project Engineer, and Project Manager. Some career highlights included project managing diving projects for Shell, BP, ExxonMobil and Chevron. Paul also acted as Project Engineer for TechnipFMC, SubSea 7 and Allseas and Project Manager for the Army Corps of Engineers Lock and Dam 53 removal and did project planning and engineering for the Excelerate Energy Northeast Gateway Deepwater LNG Port. Involved in improvements and maintenance program offshore Boston Massachusetts.
