For 15 years, Michelle has learned the ebb and flow of the commercial diving industry as an administrator and director at the Divers Institute of Technology in Seattle, WA. Shaping the next generation of commercial divers is part of her daily experience as the Career Services liaison between graduating students and industry employers. Her last few years’ work on the ADCI/ANSI Standards Committee developing updated minimum commercial diver training standards for dive schools has sharpened her focus on what quality training includes. With her additional background in education and human psychology, continuing to improve the training and experience of new divers in school and industry is the passion that keeps Michelle coming back for more every day!
