Matt Miller is the Vice President of Ship Production at Saronic, where he leads the development and execution of Saronic’s next-generation shipyard in Brownsville, Texas.
Matt brings over a decade of maritime experience spanning the full life of a ship. He began his career at sea as a merchant mariner, sailing as a licensed engineer, before moving ashore into the maritime industrial base — working across new construction, ship repair, and modernization of both commercial and naval vessels. His experience ranges from manufacturing operations to facility management and capital planning.
Matt holds a BS in Marine Engineering and Shipyard Management from the United States Merchant Marine Academy and a Master’s of Engineering degree in Innovation Strategy and Product Development from Case Western Reserve University. He is currently a business school Doctoral candidate at the University of Florida.
