Maryanne is the Director of Career Services at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, a position she finds extremely rewarding. She develops relationships with employers hiring from the Academy’s seven STEM programs. Working with both employers and students, she oversees the cooperative education and cadet shipping programs, employer events, student programming and facilitates career outcomes for graduates. Traveling to conventions to promote the Academy and students, she is constantly networking to expand the reach of our graduates.
Prior to employment with MMA, Maryanne worked at the Sea Education Association’s undergraduate program, SEA Semester, in Woods Hole. She held positions in student services, financial aid and admissions. She started her career in higher education in the co-op program at Northeastern University in Boston.
Maryanne’s degrees are from Boston College and Northeastern University. A native of Cape Cod, Maryanne and her husband Paul returned to the area in 1989 where they raised their two daughters.
