Mark Schultz is the Government Marine Manager for Sherwin-Williams. He has worked in the coatings industry for 30 years; initially with Union Tank Car (rail car manufacturer), then as a corrosion engineer, and now with the Sherwin-Williams Marine Group where he is the technical liaison with the US Navy, US Coast Guard, US Army Watercraft, Military Sealift Command, Maritime Administration, National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Association and new construction and maintenance shipyards. Mark is a NACE Certified Coatings Inspector – Level 3 (#4122), a SSPC Protective Coatings Specialist, and recipient of the 2018 SSPC John D. Keane Award of Merit. Mark has a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois.
