Mr. Porvaznik has been the U.S. Coast Guard Boat Acquisition Program Manager since 2016. His duties include program management responsibilities for both Major and Non-Major Boat Acquisitions. He started his acquisition career in 2006 as the Program Manager for the Response Boat-Medium Major Acquisition Program while he was still on Active Duty with the U.S. Coast Guard. He retired from active duty as a Captain in 2010, returning as the Boat Acquisition Program Manager in 2016.
