Dr. Leonardo Tamborrino is a experience marine geoscientist with extensive experience in geophysical data acquisition, processing, and analysis for offshore wind and blue carbon projects. Currently, he leads seafloor imaging projects at PlanBlue in Bremen, Germany, where he specializes in advanced marine ecosystem monitoring technologies. Dr. Tamborrino earned his Ph.D. in Marine Geosciences from the MARUM – University of Bremen, where his research focused on the spatial-temporal distribution of cold-water coral mounds off Nambia in relation to paleoenvironmental conditions. He has a strong background in geotechnical sampling, mineralogical analysis, and spatial data management, with professional experience across Europe, including key roles in Ireland, Spain, Italy, and Malta. Fluent in multiple languages and proficient in various geospatial and data analysis software, Dr. Tamborrino is dedicated to advancing marine geosciences projects through innovative technological solutions.
