Juliann Krogh is currently the Deputy Director of Contracts at the Military Sealift Command, Norfolk, VA. She manages an annual portfolio of $4.4 Billion with approximately 7,300 contract actions.
Previously at MSC, she served the Branch Chief for the General Services Branch, managing all general services contracting support across the MSC enterprise, and also served as an acting Division Director for the Services and Ship Support Division. She directly managed a broad assortment of services with a divisional portfolio totaling of approximately $1.3 billion. Ms. Krogh has served in numerous contracting departments and made significant impacts in the improvement of federal contracting. As Navy Medicine East’s (NME) Small Business Professional, she provided assistance to 19 different Military Treatment Facilities across NME as well as small businesses across the country. While serving in this role, she broke competition barriers to facilitate greater small business participation in federal contracts.
During Ms. Krogh’s tenure managing contract departments, she has acted above and beyond her duties. Not only does she establish a consistent direction in all contracting departments she manages, she actively assists her customer to attain better pricing and performance. Through these efforts, Ms. Krogh has realized millions of dollars in savings and streamlined many requirements within the Department of the Navy.
The aforementioned efforts, in addition to others, have been recognized through numerous awards. Ms. Krogh’s most notable awards include the following: NAVSUP Small Business Achievement Award, NME Small Business Program, April 2016; 2nd Regional Virtual CPI Fair Winner, NME Telework Tiger Team, May 2016; National Veteran Small Business Coalition, Champion of Veteran Enterprise, NAVSUP Small Business Program, June 2016; and the BUMED Acquisition Professional of the Year FY15, May 2016.
In conjunction with Ms. Krogh’s time as an acquisition professional, she has spent numerous hours volunteering for the United States Coast Guard, educating the public about the history of the War of 1812. As a result, she received a Meritorious Team Commendation, a Letter of Commendation, and a Public Affairs Award in January of 2013 from the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
A native of New York, Ms. Krogh graduated from Virginia Tech in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and in 2010 with a Master of Public Administration.
