Joshua Neubert is the CEO of the Institute of Competition Sciences. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Planetary Science and has a life-long interest in exploration of the unknown. In 2012, Mr. Neubert founded the Institute of Competition Sciences to help people around the world use the power of competitions to advance science, technology, and education. He has launched numerous STEM education competitions, been a National Science Foundation PI, hosted workshops with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, supported government agencies, companies, and philanthropic foundations in designing and managing competitions awarding over $20,000,000 in prizes, and was recently awarded the 2024 NASA Space Technology Catalyst Award for his work expanding access to NASA technology. He continues to enhance opportunities for organizations of all shapes and sizes to use the power of competitions to make the world a more knowledgeable and inspiring place.
