John Kuta is Vice President of Business Development at Optopax, where he leads global sales and customer engagement for advanced optical and imaging systems. He brings more than 25 years of experience spanning optical engineering, product development, commercialization, and executive leadership in photonics and industrial markets. At Optopax, John works closely with customers developing high-performance imaging solutions for subsea inspection, ROVs, AUVs, and other demanding marine applications, with particular emphasis on overcoming the optical challenges introduced by water interfaces, pressure windows, and underwater camera ports. John holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Toronto.
