Jessica Dealy, Atlantic Shores Project Developer
Ms. Dealy has worked in the wind industry since 2013, beginning her career with Brooklyn-based development start-up, OwnEnergy. As project manager for wind resource, she led the company’s meteorological tower pipeline, contracted third-party resource assessment reports, and assisted in creating a desktop screening tool that was used to develop a successful greenfield pipeline. OwnEnergy was acquired by EDF Renewables North America in 2015 and Ms. Dealy continued a role in the larger Resource Assessment Group, where she developed pre-construction energy estimates, designed and optimized layouts, and managed large meteorological datasets. She has since played an integral role in bringing over 500 MW of onshore wind online and has worked on over 1 GW of company pipeline. Prior to her career in renewable energy, Ms. Dealy worked as an award-winning on-air meteorologist and news reporter. Ms. Dealy holds a bachelor’s degree in meteorology/climatology and a master’s degree in environmental geoscience from Mississippi State University.
