For more than 16 years, Jenni Lewis has been a trailblazer for the Oil and Gas Industry with a focus on workforce development. She has worked in senior leadership roles for two global Training Service Providers, Petrofac Training Services (2007-2014) and RelyOn Nutec (formally Falck Safety Services, 2014-current). Jenni currently serves as the Managing Director for RelyOn Nutec’s Mexico, Caribbean and United States Operations.
Within her career, Jenni has been instrumental in developing workforce development programs for companies like BP, BHP, Hess, Seadrill and others. Additionally, her collaboration with industry bodies such as OPITO, Global Wind and the International Association for Drilling Contractors has supported new industry initiatives and programs.
During her current time as Managing Director with RelyOn Nutec, Jenni has focused her efforts on commercializing the business and the company’s goal of digital transformation. She has been a key participant in the company’s integration of new mergers and acquisitions and implementing new products and services- including transferring RelyOn Nutec’s global expertise in supporting the Renewables industry to the up and coming United States market.
This has included forming a partnership with Massachusetts Maritime Academy that resulted in the implemented plans necessary for the Global Wind Organization (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST) along with innovatively designing and constructing the facilities and associated infrastructure necessary for workers to safety learn in preparation of the emerging offshore wind and blue economy related industries. This became the first facility in the nation to offer all five modules of GWO BST for Offshore Wind, the first facility in the Northeast to deliver GWO training, and the first facility in the nation to deliver GWO Sea Survival training. RelyOn Nutec have since expanded GWO trainings at their existing campuses along the Gulf Coast to include BST, Advanced Tower Rescue and Basic Technical Training. As of fall of 2021, more than 150 people will have successfully completed training contributing to workforce development and potential for social impact in helping workers transition to this emerging market.
Jenni holds a Business Management degree from the University of Phoenix and an Interdisciplinary Studies certificate from the University of Houston. She currently lives in Houston, Texas with her two daughters. When she’s not busy at work, you will find her in the stands cheering on her daughters sporting activities and events.
