Jason Seawall is the Founder and CEO of Numurus, where he leads development of NEPI, an edge AI platform used by maritime, robotics, and defense teams to deploy AI and automate sensor-based systems in the field.
Jason has spent more than 20 years working in robotics, sensing, and advanced imaging systems. He previously founded BlueView Technologies, a marine sonar and imaging company, and led it through its acquisition by Teledyne. After the acquisition, he served as Teledyne’s Vice President of Technology, overseeing innovation across their marine technology group. That experience gave him a direct view into how hard real-world hardware integration actually is, and why most teams spend more time building infrastructure than solving their core problem.
He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an engineering degree from Virginia Tech.
