Erik Larsen is VP Sales Americas at Corvus Energy.
Erik brings two decades of marine industry experience to Corvus. Since early on, Erik has had a strong interest in the maritime business with 5 generations of family at sea. Throughout his career, Erik has worked in a wide variety of roles including engineering, sales, management, operations, and business development. He has experience working with electrical systems, switchboards, alarms and monitoring, HM&E, furniture, and galley equipment.
After graduating in 1999 from the State University of New York with an Engineering degree in Naval Architecture, Erik went on to work for Stolt Parcel Tankers and Sheridan Transportation as Third Mate. After year, it was time for a shoreside job. In early 2000, Erik kicked off his career as Applications Engineer for Rolls-Royce Naval Marine in Walpole, MA. Shortly thereafter, he became Manager of Communications & Planning and then an Account Manager, developing and pursuing new business opportunities for Commercial Marine. After 18 years with Rolls Royce Marine North America, he was ready for another change. Erik joined Trident Maritime Systems as Government Business Development Leader and built a solid customer base during his 3-year tenure.
Erik received his Bachelor of Engineering in Naval Architecture in 1999 and USCG Third Mates license from SUNY Maritime College in New York.
He resides in Osprey, Florida with his wife Angela and their daughter Anna.
