Derek Safieh is the Technical Project Manager for Defense Programs at REGENT, where he interfaces with the engineering team to represent the voice of the customer and deliver accurate and on-time data to government stakeholders. He also makes connections with other industry partners to answer government RFPs across all the departments. Derek’s background is in Aerospace Engineering, specifically focusing experimental testing of novel rotorcraft technologies. As a graduate from both the University of Maryland and the Georgia Institute of Technology, Derek’s work has been presented at the European Rotorcraft Forum, Vertical Flight Society Forum, and AIAA SciTech.
