Bo Jardine is the founder of 1852 Solutions Ltd. and a maritime and defense investor who advises companies, private equity firms, venture capital investors, and institutional lenders evaluating opportunities in the maritime and defense sectors. Specializing in offshore energy, naval defense (including unmanned systems (UxS) and Counter-UxS) and dual-use marine technology, Bo brings hands-on industry experience to commercial due diligence, marine risk management, market assessment, and strategic decision-making.
His active venture and advisory portfolio includes, but is not limited to, specialized innovators such as Eureka Naval Craft, Picket Defense Systems, NavalLinks, AIRCAT Vessels, Velocity Offshore, XDOWN, and Advanced Poly Marine System (APMS). Prior to founding 1852, Bo spent over two decades directing global marine category management and energy sector operations at Shell and BG Group, leading complex supply chains and large-scale maritime assets spanning vessels, shipbuilding, shoreside infrastructure, and offshore facilities.
He serves on the Western Operations Board for the American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE), is an Associate Fellow of The Nautical Institute (AFNI), and is a lifetime member of the Marine Technology Society (MTS).
