Commander Andrew S. Heil is currently assigned as the Deputy Chief of the U.S. Coast Guard’s Surface Forces Logistics Center, Engineering Services Division, located in Baltimore, MD.  The son of an NNS Master Shipbuilder, CDR Heil is originally from Hampton Roads, Virginia.  Earlier in his career, Andrew was a Chief Engineer Officer and spent afloat assignments supporting law enforcement, counternarcotics, as well as search and rescue missions throughout the Eastern Pacific and Caribbean.
