Besides my years as a Wall Street energy analyst, I was a consultant to offshore companies, MARAD, the court expert in the bankruptcy of Global Marine, a member of the senior management team of ENSCO (a leading offshore drilling company) during its formative years, and a member of the boards of directors of numerous oilfield service companies.
