Volvo Penta D16 MH

This 16 litre turbocharged diesel engine has a robust and dependable design with an overhead camshaft, four valves per cylinder and precisely controlled electronic fuel injection. It features Volvo Group´s proven combustion technology which creates an optimized fuel to air pressure ratio at any work load. Together with Volvo Group´s Engine Management System it offers powerful response, fuel efficiency and excellent emission performance. Volvo Penta D6-330

Volvo Penta's 6-cylinder D6‑330 is developed from the latest design in modern diesel technology.The engine has common rail fuel injection system, double overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder, turbocharger and aftercooler. Together with a large swept volume and the EVC system (Electronic Vessel Control), this results in world-class diesel performance, combined with low emissions.

The Volvo Penta D13 provides operators with multiple power options, ranging from 400 hp -1000 hp.  The D13 is an in-line 6-cylinder, 12.8-liter, diesel engine. It uses a high-pressure unit injector system, overhead camshaft and a twin-entry turbo using a water-cooled exhaust manifold and miller timing. Volvo Penta D13 IMO III

With the D13-MH IMO III, Volvo Penta has been able to fulfill IMO III exhaust emission targets while maintaining the same low fuel consumption. It’s an in-line 6-cylinder, 12.8-liter, diesel engine using a high-pressure unit injector system, overhead camshaft, twin-entry turbo using a water-cooled exhaust manifold and miller timing contributes to high fuel efficiency and exceptional operating economy. It is designed to cope with high back pressure and high-sulfur fuel – up to 1,000 ppm. The SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) exhaust after treatment system is tailored perfectly for the engine. The SCR unit, also a silencer, reduces noise by 35-40 dBA, resulting in unaffected engine power output.
