United States Marine, Inc. (USMI) is an ISO certified, small business company specializing in the design, manufacturing, testing and maintenance support of both composite and aluminum high performance craft and various components. Support for craft maintenance, repair, training, and spare parts support are performed both CONUS and OCONUS.

Manufactured craft include the 9M Multi-Use Expeditionary Response Craft (MERC) for NAVSEA/ Naval Expeditionary Combat Command (NECC), 11M NSWRIB’s for USSOCOM (SBT12, 20 and 22), US Navy, NAVSEA and foreign navies, the 33’ Special Operations Craft-Riverine (SOCR) for USSOCOM (SBT22), the 33’ Riverine Assault Craft (RAB) for NECC, and the 27M MKV Patrol Boats for NAVSEA FMS to Kuwait and Oman. USMI also has the capability of providing customers with Research and Development support in such projects as retrofitting craft with mine-hunting systems, autonomous capability, portable mobility systems, light weight carbon fiber components, and providing solutions to mission needs. USMI has facilities in both Gulfport, MS and Chesapeake, VA.

United States Marine, Inc. (USMI) has two variants of the 90’ MKV-PB. The first variant built in 2007 was an ABS Classed composite craft. Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) awarded USMI an FMS contract to design, construct, deliver and provide post delivery support for three (3) 90’ MKV-PB(C) for the Royal Oman Police Coast Guard. This composite 90’ MKV-PB(C) was included as one of WorkBoat’s Significant Boats of 2008. NAVSEA awarded USMI with an FMS contract to build ten (10) of the second variant MKV-PB, an aluminum craft, in 2009 for the Kuwait Naval Forces. Both variants of the MKV-PB are powered by twin MTU 12V5000 M90s and twin Rolls Royce 63SII waterjets. With max speeds at full load of 45+ knots, these craft can be used for offshore patrol, drug/pricacy interdiction and other naval patrol missions. Depending upon the arrangement configuration chosen, these craft can accommodate up to twelve crew and passengers.


United States Marine, Inc. (USMI) has been contracted by NAVSEA to construct three variants of the 9M MERC, Open Center Console, Cabin and NOMWC, to be used in the Navy EOD forces and FMS navies.These craft are manufactured out of composite materials using a resin infusion lamination process. To-date USMI has delivered both the OCC and Cabin variants, both outfitted with Twin Mercury Verado 250 HP 4 Stroke Outboard Gasoline engines. These craft reach sprint speeds of 39+ knots, with cruising speeds at 30+ knots.These 9M RIBS can be used for missions such as harbor patrol, passenger transport, diving operations, casualty evacuation and unmanned system operations.
