Marine Rescue Technologies (MRT) distributes marine safety equipment approved by United States Coast Guard, the EU Marine Equipment Directive and SOLAS/IMO.
MRT focuses on man overboard alerts, alarms, locators and retrieval systems that exceed local safety requirements and have been widely adopted by leaders in safety.
We offer a number of retrieval systems (Jason’s Cradle & Markus Lifenets) that are designed to the new SOLAS standard (III/-17) and will meet or exceed USCG standards for recovery of an unconscious person in the water.
MRT also custom-designs its AutoCrew solution for tracking of personnel on board (POB). Components of the system include automated POB Management, automated muster, gangway management, access control, flight logistics, bunk management, customized reporting, Permit to Work and Certificate Tracking.
The Jason's Cradle® MOB system is used globally in every military, commercial, rescue, and leisure area within the marine sector. The commercial units are fully SOLAS approved and for many years have been and continue to be the most respected MOB recovery, embarkation/disembarkation and evacuation system in the world. Solutions include standard units, FRC kits, stretchers, and scramble nets.
MARKUS Rescue Nets & Cradles
The Markus MOB retrieval systems provide for a wide variety of applications including, wharf’s, jetties, work platforms, fast rescue crafts, tugs, pilots boats, lifeboats and SOLAS vessels. The rescue nets are approved for use by USCG and built to meet the new SOLAS standard III/-17, for getting people out of the water in a horizontal position. Solutions include the rescue lines, rescue ladders, rescue nets and rescue cradles. The Markus nets, compared to conventional rescue nets, are much lighter, take up less storage room, and are often a fraction of the price.
AutoCrew Management System
The AutoCrew management system eliminates the manual task of basic personnel management, accountability of personnel on board, and employee tracking during emergency drills and muster drills. Immediately management knows who has reported to their stations, who is missing from their stations and who has reported to the wrong area or who has not reported at all. Features. The application suite can be broken down into several distinct categories: Basic Personnel Management; Electronic P.O.B; Electronic Muster System; Electronic Safety Meeting Attendance Tracking; Multiple Job Site Tracking; Certification Tracking and Reporting; Exemption Management and Alerting; Emergency Teams Generation; Promotion Forecaster; Enterprise Level Management.
Reach & Rescue
The revolutionary Reach and Rescue Pole is a leading retrieval device for a wide range of industries providing an easy concept with minimal training. The key function of the pole is to quickly and accurately deploy a flotation/rescue device to a casualty in the shortest time possible thus saving valuable, minutes on rescue. The Reach and Rescue product line starts with standard and ultra lite poles extending 5m to 17m (54ft.). In addition there are over 20 unique attachments that assist in all types of rescue scenarios. Attachments would include but not limited to: Clamping Float; Floatation Collar; Grappler; Body Hook; Carrago; Crook; Boat Hook; Rescue Net
Designed and built in accordance with current Lifting Operation and Lifting Equipment and SOLAS regulations, the MateSaver is suitable for arduous marine environments and essential to any overboard recovery. The MateSaver comes in two lengths, 2.6 and 3.6 meters for fast and secure recovery.
WeatherDock easyRESCUE MOB AIS S.A.R.T.s
The easyRESCUE series are the only SOLAS approved AIS S.A.R.T.s on the market today. In the event of a man overboard incident, these units are water activated and will send an AIS message to the host vessel and all other vessels within range (5-15 miles). This message will include exact GPS coordinates, as well as speed and course over ground. This information will be updated every minute for 96 hrs. As a SOLAS approved unit, the easyRESCUE outperforms other competitors on the market in terms of range, outputted power and transmission time.
Compact personal safety device with both manual and automatic activation. Works with 121.5 MHz, which can be received by the W402 on-board receiver. Transmission time of 24 hrs and battery life of 5 years, that can be replaced by the user. Device integrates easily with inflatable life jackets through the removable bracket or using a textile hook.
They system allows the localization and monitoring of ships and objects in real time FM radio technology. The vmsTRACK is a small, portable transmitter which emits positional messages via FM radio technology in customized intervals. The information transmitted includes the current position, speed and course, allowing for a permanent location of these objects and thus a constant observation for a base station. With the vmsTRACK devices and a receiver at a base station, a "closed user group" can be generated. Applications: Vessel tracking, Fishing fleet monitoring, port security, oil spill tracking
Lone Worker AutoDialer
Designed for lone worker applications, the Auto-Dialer configuration is designed to alert rescue assets that might not be on site or in the vicinity of the man overboard event. In the event of a man overboard incident, the unit automatically receives the MOB AIS signal, then dials up to five telephone numbers with a pre-recorded message.
AutoCrew Certificate Tracking
The AutoCrew Certificate Tracking solution streamlines every facet of the traditional hardcopy filing system of the past. Including Training Matrix, Certificate Database, Promotion Forecasting, Exemptions Emergency Team Generation, and more. This is offered as a standalone program or as a feature of the comprehensive AutoCrew system.
