Lake Assault Boats LLC, and our sister company, Fraser Shipyards, are mission-specific commercial boat manufacturers headquartered on the shores of Lake Superior. We specialize in fully-welded aluminum tactical response vessels for Police, Fire, Search & Rescue, Military agencies, Federal Agencies and others. Lake Assault is staffed with a team of naval architects, engineers, ABS certified welders and technicians. Across the United States, Lake Assault is a preferred boat builder servicing mission requirements of fire departments, dive and rescue, law enforcement, various Federal and State agencies and commercial work boat owners.

Landing Craft-Welded Aluminum Tactical Response Vessels

Lake Assault's Landing Craft style boat is built with a hydraulically operated bow door, with a 12V hydraulic system, complete with cylinders on both sides of the door. The boat can be safely operable at slow speeds with the bow door opened as a working platform. The Landing Craft style boat has many versatile advantages to any department's needs.

Traditional Hull-Welded Aluminum Tactical Response Vessels

Lake Assault's Traditional V-Hull boats are an advantage to any department's needs. We have delivered V-hull vessels to many departments, some complete with a collared system and dive doors. At Lake Assault Boats, we work with our customers through the design and build process, to ensure they receive a vessel that will fulfill their mission requirements.

Lake Assault R22

Engineered for fast and nimble fire and rescue response, the Lake Assault R22 was developed in response to numerous requests received from first responders for a versatile, easy to operate, and value-priced craft. The new Lake Assault R22 is 22' x 8'6" (including the collar). This lightweight boat is able to operate in as little as 12 to 14 inches of water. It is an ideal fit for departments responding to a wide range of water conditions including flooding. It can be launched and operated by a single person and can be configured for firefighting, dive, rescue and patrol operations. The Lake Assault R22 is rated for up to 225 HP and is capable of speeds in excess of 45 mph.
