Furuno USA

The name Furuno is no stranger to workboat vessels. Furuno USA has been the industry leader in marine radar, sonar, fish finders, communications and precision navigation for over thirty years in the U.S. Today, Furuno is the leading supplier of marine electronics around the world. Even though Furuno straddles today’s market, it all began with a single product and one man’s vision more than 65 years ago. In the early 1940’s, Mr. Kiyotaka Furuno set out to help Japan’s fishing fleet improve its effectiveness and efficiency. Using state-of-the-art sonar technology, Mr. Furuno helped engineer and manufacture the world’s first electronic fish finder. This new fish finder was the first in a long succession of break-throughs in fish detection technology.

FE800 IMO Echosounder

The dual-frequency 50/200kHz FE800 is the result of over 50 years of Furuno's vast range of experience and advanced microelectronics technology fields in developing Echosounders, Sonar, and underwater application equipment. This Echosounder is a breakthrough over the conventional paper eating Sounders; there are no consumable items. The purpose of the echo sounder is to provide safe navigation by detecting the clearance below the ship (particularly in shallow waters) as required on the SOLAS Convention ships by the new IMO standards.A single transceiver may be connected to two separate transducers for a dual frequency (50/200kHz) or FORE / AFT display. The 200 kHz system is advantageous in rough weather or congested waterways in shallow waters whereas the 50 kHz system is recommended for deeper range operation.Click here for more information

FCV295 Fish Finder

The FCV295 is a color digital Fish Finder designed for a variety of professional fishing operations. It features a bonded ‘fogging-free’ 10.4" LCD display providing superior viewing even in direct sunlight.
