Evac OnlineVac vacuum generation unit
The Evac OnlineVac is a durable, low-maintenance online vacuum generation unit that macerates sewage and generates the vacuum required for the discharge process.Particularly suitable for vessels with medium passenger and crew capacities, it features extra-strong bearings, heavy-duty mechanical seals, and an electric motor with an IEC flange connection. The vacuum is generated and sewage pumped by means of a special liquid-ring screw pump, manufactured – along with the pump casings – from high-quality, corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
Evac Optima 5 vacuum urinal
The Evac Optima 5 urinal is the world’s first and only vacuum urinal. It is compact, using an integrated vacuum mechanism in the bowl rather than a vacuum interface tank. It is available in auto and button-flush versions, as well as a waterless version. The flush in the Evac Optima 5 vacuum urinal is much more powerful than that of traditional gravity urinals, meaning that all of the water is changed completely, while the waterless version removes urine completely. This means no deodorizer block is needed with either version, as urine traces and odors are eliminated. The Evac Optima 5 vacuum urinal is also available with USPH certification. consumes only 0.6 l / 0.2 gal. per flush.
Evac Optima 5 vacuum toilet
The Evac Optima 5,available in floor and wall-mounted models, is the quietest vacuum toilet on the market according to independent research. It uses our proven pneumatic flush mechanism, with flush memory and vacuum sensor technology. With the Evac Optima 5 there are no overflows or unflushed toilet bowls caused by a temporary loss of vacuum – the control unit with flushing memory ensures that there is sufficient vacuum for flushing before allowing the flush to be performed. Both the water consumption and flushing time can be adjusted. We also offer special auto-flush and fire-resistant versions.
Evac MBR membrane bioreactor
The Evac MBR (membrane bioreactor) is an advanced biologival wastewater treatment process that can treat all wastewater streams to current standards. Evac MBR treatment plants are certified to meet both the IMO MEPC 159(55) and the new IMO MEPC 227(64) with nutrient removal and River Rhine certification, as well as are U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) approved. The compact footprint of the membrane bioreactor makes it ideal for retrofit to existing vessels, as well as for installation on new ships.
Evac ORCA IV electrolytic wastewater treatment system
The Evac ORCA IVA electrolytic wastewater treatment plant is designed to treat black and gray wastewater aboard vessels. It is a purely electrolytic wastewater treatment plant that fulfills the requirements of IMO MEPC 227 (64) and is also U. S. Coast Guard (USCG) approved. The compact, modular design makes it ideal for both installation on new vessels and retrofitting existing vessels. It operates on a batch basis but is basically continuous, is fully automatic in normal operation, and only requires low maintenance. Depending on the model, the hydraulic load for black and gray vacuum wastewater treatment ranges from 1,500 to 70,000 liters / 396 to 18,492 gallons per day.
Evac dry waste recycling units
Dry waste produced on board vessels can be divided into recyclable and non-recyclable materials. IMO MARPOL Annex V prohibits the discharge of any dry waste into the sea, so it must be stored on board. Evac dry waste collection and handling systems for recyclable waste significantly reduce the space needed for dry waste storage. Our range includes glass crushers, compactors, bailers, and can densifiers for all kind of vessels.
Evac briquetting unit
The Evac briquetting unit is an advanced waste compaction system for minimizing the storage volume of dry waste on board vessels. The unit includes a shredder, a fire gate, a shredded waste storage tank, and a briquetting machine. Designed for small and medium-sized vessels, our innovative briquetting technology has several advantages when compared to conventional incinerator plants or garbage compacting and landing systems, making it an ideal alternative.
