ELECTRICAL STL SYSTEM
The electrical STL (eSTL) system is a world first for Dellner Brakes AB. This patent pending system is compact and needs no additional piping, making it quick, easy and cost effective to install. It's simple to use, hard wearing and easy to maintain and is perfect for applications where a clean environment is paramount. The system is available in a range of standard sizes but it can be customized for various applications. The unique, modular "Stopping, Turning, Locking" system allows customers to choose one, two or all three functions to create a solution for their requirements.
The STL system is a multi-function unit all contained in one customer interface. The STL system offers you one or several of three functions. Stopping: Dellner Brakes hydraulic or electric disc brake calipers effectively handle the stopping operation. Turning: Mechanical linkages with hydraulic cylinders or electric motors position the disc brakes. Together with an intelligent control system we turn or index the shaft. Available in two options - step by step indexing or continuous turning. Locking: The locking device (LM) has a specially designed tapered pawl that is engaged into a machined slot on the outer peripheral of the brake disc. This mechanically locks the shaft in place. The LM can be operated manually, hydraulically or electrically. The STL modular system is indeed a modular system so you can choose the function(s) needed.
The Dellner Brakes locking devices (LM) have a specially designed tapered pawl that is engaged into a machined slot on the outer peripheral of a brake disc or shaft flange. The LM devices are equipped with proximity switches for ON/OFF detection. The LMs come with manual, hydraulic or electrical operation. Locking forces range from 125 kN to 1,000 kN.
DISC BRAKE – MODEL SKP
Dellner Brakes model SKP disc brake is a spring applied, hydraulically released disc brake that offers a reliable and safe method of braking linear and rotary motion. The brake consists of two symmetrical halves and can be supplied with or without a mounting stand. Each brake half has two guide pins that transmit the tangential braking force from the brake lining to the housing and mounting support. As a result, the brake pistons are not subject to any radical forces contributing to longer brake life. Springs on each brake half retract the brake pads from the disc when pressure is applied.The disc spring must be adjusted to compensate for brake lining wear and to maintain full brake capacity. The SKP model range produces 2,000 N to 423,000 N of braking force
DISC BRAKE - MODEL SKD
Dellner Brakes model SKD disc brake is a direct acting, hydraulic pressure applied, spring released unit. The braking force achieved is directly proportional to the applied pressure. The brake consists of two symmetrical brake halves between which the support structure with variable thicknesses can be mounted to accommodate any brake disc thickness. Each brake half has two guide pins that transmits the tangential brake force from the brake lining to housing and mounting support. As a result, the brake pistons are not subject to any radical forces contributing to longer brake life. Two springs on each brake half retract the brake pads from the disc when pressure is released. Brake lining wear is automatically compensated for with increased piston stroke. The SKD model range produces 8,000 N to 517,200 N of braking force.
FM - REDUCTION GEAR CLUTCH
The FM Clutch is designed and manufactured for marine applications, mainly for use on diesel-driven reduction gears. In addition to its robust construction utilizing an integral rim and tube design, the FM's ventilated friction shoes and as-molded linings allow for clutch slippage during forward and reverse maneuvering at low speeds, as well as periodic cycling engagements at high speeds.
FKT - HEAVY DUTY VENTILATED CLUTCH / BRAKE
The FKT type element is well suited for applications with the most demanding equipment where severe clutching and braking is required. This unit’s capacity for withstanding high starting loads and sustained slippages distinguishes it from conventional clutches. It incorporates superior design and construction for outstanding efficiency and a long operating life, without any need for regular maintenance.
ROTORSEALS | ROTARY UNIONS
Our supplied rotorseals are specially crafted mechanical elements which can transfer various mediums (hydraulic fluid, air, steam) from a stationary source, such a pneumatic air tank, to a rotating piece of equipment. Since most pneumatic drum and disc clutches operate through the shaft air supply, our full line of rotorseals cover a majority of the clutch and brake applications, regardless of industry.

TYPE A & BR FLEXIBLE SHAFT COUPLINGS
Our line of Flexible Shaft Couplings are designed for high-torque applications and transmissions. Although it resembles its some of its competitors, both the Type A and BR are a more compact design and better operational efficiency. They are able to transmit a greater amount of torque while efficiently absorbing shaft misalignments, vibrations, and torque fluctuations.
