Craft split roller bearings are made in the USA. The bearings are machined precisely into halves, split to the shaft, while maintaining the inherent features of a cylindrical bearing. This allows for simpler inspection or change out of components, and eliminates the need to disturb equipment or shaft alignment. The bearing cartridge and housing are made from ductile iron, and possess a self-aligning feature that allows for initial shaft misalignment. The bearing cartridge is sealed by aluminum triple labyrinth seals which are designed to rotate with the shaft and prevent bearing contamination. This prevents any damage or wear to the shaft and ensures long bearing life. Craft split bearings are available from 1-7/16” through 32” bore; same day shipment through 12”. Metric bore and special design bearings are available upon request.
