Bollinger Shipyards is the leading provider of quality construction, repair, and conversion products and services to the marine industry, with 10 shipyards throughout Louisiana. Bollinger's dry docks range in capacity up to 10,500 tons, with a wide variety of dry-docks.
Bollinger Armature Services, located at Bollinger Quick Repair, has the capability to repair all types of AC & DC motors and generators. In-shop and field service for maritime, petrochemical, commercial industries and municipalities provided. Load-testing capabilities include modern equipment with a capacity of up to 1000Kw that will meet ABS requirements for the testing of generators. The facility is guided by Bollinger policies and procedures based on and registered to the ISO9001 standard.
Bollinger Shipyard's Machine/Hydraulic Shops are full service machining facilities with line boring capabilities. They are equipped with computer controlled technology in the manufacture, repair and reconditioning of propeller shafts, stern tubes, bow and stern thrusters, chemical pumps, rudders and other underwater gear. Bollinger has 18 ABS approved welding procedures used in the manufacturing and repair of shafts.</p>
Bollinger Shipyard's Propeller Shop is a modern 27,500 square feet fully-equipped manufacturing and repair facility featuring pitchometers and four hydraulic presses with up to 400 tons capacity that allows straightening and re-pitching propellers of up to 20 feet in diameter without heating the metal.
