Apilite U070 is a three-component, IMO-approved, lightweight epoxy underlayment designed for easy application for all interior deck applications. It was specifically designed for those projects where added weight is of the highest concern. It is used for leveling and flattening the deck, and can be applied up to 15 mm (9/16 in.) per lift. Like all API USA products, it maintains a corrosion resistant and waterproof layer. Apilite U070 is comprised of an epoxy base, amine hardener, and lightweight filler.
Plastigel ERF is a decorative, stain-resistant, cleanable epoxy based flooring system. The color flake broadcast layer results in an attractive floor surface for a wide-range of applications, including but not limited to, locker rooms, restrooms, lobbies, and other shared spaces. Plastigel ERF offers unlimited color options and is available in small (1/16”) or large (1/4”) sized flakes. It is currently awaiting IMO approval. The Apilite underlayment can be used with this product.
Plastigel SLT is a decorative, textured, epoxy based flooring system designed to provide an attractive, slip- and stain-resistant, cleanable surface for light traffic areas such as locker rooms, restrooms, showers, and other shared spaces. It is available in 10 tweed pattern standard colors as well as 2 solid colors, with custom colors available upon request. Plastigel SLT is currently awaiting IMO approval. The Apilite underlayment can be used with this product.
Plastigel ASG is a heavy-duty, exterior antiskid coating system specifically designed in accordance with Navy Specification 36270. It is the ideal solution for weather decks, ferry decks, entryways, passenger areas, and any other shipboard location that requires a surefooted non-slip finish. Plastigel ASG can be finished to varying textures by altering the application technique, and is available in a haze grey color. An optional epoxy primer can be applied if required.
Viscogel is a two-component, IMO-approved polyurethane underlayment with viscoelastic properties. Viscogel, as one part in a system utilizing other API USA underlayments, is the ideal solution for sound and vibration dampening from media below. Viscogel, as a part of a complete sound dampening system, can be used to decrease sound levels from machinery rooms, busy corridors and discotheques.
Flexigel Decoro, the most versatile topcoat in the API product line, is a decorative, resilient, IMO-certified polyurethane deck coating designed as a high-performance alternative to tile, vinyl, and other deck coverings. The use of aliphatic technology gives it excellent UV resistance and durability, while its seamless finish ensures an easy-to-clean, watertight, and corrosion-resistant seal. Flexigel Syntheteak is a resilient, IMO-certified, polyurethane deck coating designed as a high-performance and lightweight alternative to Teak wood. As a member of the Flexigel Decoro family, Syntheteak maintains all the same technical characteristics, and its seamless and water-resistant finish prevent the deck from taking on additional weight. With the incorporation of grout lines and directional sanding, creating the effect of natural natural wood grain, Syntheteak is truly the ideal replacement for Teak decking.
Flexigel Alleggerito Sottofondo
One of the most widely used IMO-approved resin underlays in the marine industry. Made of two-component polyurethane resin and selected aggregates, Flexigel Alleggerito represents an excellent compromise between elasticity, viscoelastic properties and resiliency. It can be applied in a single layer to full thickness. Curing time can be adjusted according to temperature. It can be sanded to receive finishing flooring materials, most commonly resin top coats.
Flexisecurit ER is a self-priming, seamless, rigid epoxy flooring system with IMO cer-tification. It is the ideal solution for interior working and technical spaces including, but not limited to, workshops, stairways and corridors, lockers, pantries, marshalling areas, storerooms, and laundry rooms, and any other interior space where strength, lifespan, cleanability, waterproofing, and corrosion resistance are of the highest con-cern. Flexisecurit ER offers incredible versatility and can be adjusted to provide varying levels of slip resistance. The Apilite underlayment can be used with this product.
Flexiplast ht is an IMO-certified underlay for high-thickness, heavy-duty, indoor floors. With an average weight of 1 kg/l and the ability to reach very high thicknesses up to 50mm or more, it is the ideal underlay for most heavy-duty indoor areas in a ship, whenever high thicknesses are required. It can be finished with resin topcoat (e.g. Flexisecurit er), tiles, etc.
