NS Workboat™ Mobile Application
The ABS Nautical Systems mobile application wasdeveloped for workboats in the inland and coastal waterways. The application, based on daily crew activities, requires very little training because of the familiar mobile interface. Subchapter M compliance has been integrated into the software so the crew does not have to be trained on any new processes or activities. Using the app on a pre-configured tablet, operational data is captured by crew automatically during regular operations. Back office operations then are simplified, allowing for ease of printing and submitting accurate reports whenever required. Further, deployment to the cloud keeps the IT investment minimal and there is no software onboard the boat.
