Our call for speakers for the 2026 WorkBoat Conference program is officially open!

We’re looking for industry professionals who can bring practical insight and real-world experience to a program built around the challenges and opportunities shaping the commercial marine industry today.

The WorkBoat Conference Program offers educational sessions on various topics relevant to all in the maritime industry. These sessions, curated by the WorkBoat content team alongside the WorkBoat and National Fisherman editorial teams, bring attendees the latest relevant industry trends, challenges, opportunities, and current events.

2026 Conference Topics

Presentation Formats

We continue to offer expanded programming with more content for our audience in various formats: panel discussions, case studies, longer-format presentations, and round table discussions. Presenters may indicate a preferred format during submission; however, final placement will be determined to support overall program balance and audience engagement best.

Main Stage

The Main Stage features high-level presentations on a range of topics. These presentations are either panel discussions or solo presentations.

Classrooms

Our two classrooms offer technical, in-depth educational presentations on four separate tracks. With a focus on innovation and providing attendees with actionable insights in a more intimate setting, these presentations can be panel discussions, solo presentations, case studies or a round table discussion.

Main Stage

Back for its second year, the Electric Hybrid Pavilion Stage explores all forms of energy solutions like hydrogen and ammonia, wind, solar, and battery power. Speakers will dive into technologies, innovations, and regulatory shifts while sharing insights on the development, implementation, and scaling of these solutions.
