Let me introduce Flection free bearing from Japan. ( Mikasa FFB)

FFB has three-layer structure made of strips of PTFE, that has self-lubricating property, as the sliding material, the special compound elastic rubber, and metal/resin shell. While It has an ability of absorbing the vibration, it keeps low friction rate even under low speed sliding surface conditions. Suitable for water lubricating system as an alternative system of oil lubricating system. Developed by Mikasa in 1980.

F.F.Bearing were proved to be most effective bearings by 30 years or more actual experiences in naval vessels and in high speed long-distance cruising ferries.(in Japan.)

As a result of pursuing superior low friction property and heavy duty property, we developed combined bearings made of P.T.F.E. and synthetic rubber and metal/resin shell for stern tube bearings.

F.F.Bearing dramatically minimizes both shaft sleeve and bearing wear resulting in lower vibration and lower friction. While it has an ability of absorbing the vibration for three layer structure, it keeps low friction rate even under low speed sliding surface conditions.

By changing into F.F.Bearing were resulting in:

And also, F.F. Bearing is available water lubricating system as an alternative system of oil lubricating system.

F.F. Bearing dramatically minimizes both shaft sleeve and bearing wear.
This is the result of using PTFE of high self-lubricating as the slide member, distributing rubber to the back as the cushion to obtain the self-alignmentability, and decreasing the load by the deflected contact.

It is available water lubricating system as an alternative system of oil lubricating system.
