Gregory is the President and Principal Naval Architect at both Bristol Harbor Group, Inc. and The Shearer Group, Inc. He holds both a Master of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, Louisiana, South Carolina and Texas. Gregory has over thirty years of extensive design and engineering experience combined with project and construction oversight. Gregory sits on the external advisory board for the University of Michigan Department of Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering and is a recipient of the Department’s Merit Award. Gregory is an active member of the Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME Fellow), the Propeller Club, the American Society of Naval Engineers, the American Waterways Operators, and several other industry and technical societies, including the Marine Technology Society. Additionally, Gregory has guest lectured at many colleges and conferences over the years including but not limited to the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, Massachusetts Maritime Academy, the University of Michigan, and Webb Institute.
