Matt is the Director of Maritime Commercial Business at Anduril, where he’s responsible for commercial business development for the Maritime Division business line. Previously, Matt was a DARPA Embedded Entrepreneur at Dive Technologies. In this role, he pioneered the dual-use mandate for the Dive-LD autonomous underwater vehicle. Matt was responsible for developing relationships with global energy companies and planning and executing customer capture and growth strategies for Dive Technologies. In early 2022, Dive Technologies and its Dive-LD product was acquired by Anduril Industries becoming the Anduril Maritime Division.
Prior to joining Dive Technologies and Anduril Maritime, Matt was the Director of Technical Sales at Liquid Robotics, a Boeing company. In this role, he was responsible for project planning and global partner engagement across multiple nations and continents for the Wave Glider unmanned surface vehicle.
Before joining Liquid Robotics, Matt was a microprocessor design engineer for Fujitsu Limited in Kawasaki, Japan and Silicon Valley, California. He was part of a team that developed central processing units and interconnect technologies for the world’s fastest supercomputer in 2011.
Fluent in English and Japanese with proficiency in Italian, Matt earned his S.B. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Harvard University. Matt has been granted 4 patents and has 7 additional patents pending.
