Blount Boats, Inc. of Warren, Rhode Island specializes in the construction of steel and aluminum commercial vessels. Since 1949, the shipyard has built over 366 vessels that provide our customers with dependable service and lasting value. Blount Boats has been building high quality, innovative shallow draft designs for 67 years. In 2015, Blount received a “Significant Vessel” award for the Chandra B, a 79x23 foot, double-hull, steel, fuel bunkering tanker built for American Petroleum servicing in New York Harbor and New Jersey. In April 2016, Blount completed the first U.S. flagged crew transfer vessel for Atlantic Wind Transfers for service to Deepwater Wind. The shipyard is licensed by South Boats, IOW, UK for building offshore wind crew transfer vessels. In June 2016, the 100-foot steel excursion boat, Skyview was delivered to Shoreline Sightseeing for service in Chicago.
